Larrikin Puppets perform a Fun and Exciting Childcare Show that will keep the Children, Staff and Parents Happy!
Brett Hansen (and his friendly and funny puppet characters) is a childcare centre entertainer providing top quality entertainment and fun for children in child care, day care, vacation care and after school care centres and facilities in and around Brisbane, Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast, including Bribie Island, Caloundra and Ipswich. 
These puppet shows are performed by Brett and his wife and co-puppeteer Elissa Jenkins in the puppetry style of The Muppets and Sesame Street. They feature lots of colour, songs, games, skits and plenty of laughs for the kids, parents, teachers, volunteers and assistants.

Description:
Suitable for early childhood, with plenty of humour for the staff and teachers to enjoy too. This puppet show is 30 minutes of songs, games, jokes, skits and comical interaction with the audience. There’s also a segment where a puppet guides the audience through some different exercises, promoting an active and healthy lifestyle.
Educational content – such as sharing, kindness, looking after the environment and healthy eating – can also be requested in your booking enquiry, but these themed shows can only be performed by both puppeteers.
The show is followed by a demonstration on how the puppets work, and an additional meet-and-greet lasting up to 15 minutes, where the kids have an opportunity to have their photo taken with Troggg, our friendly blue monster star.
For babies, 1-2 year olds, and children with ASD we offer an interactive show, filled with all the colour and musical fun of the regular show, but the puppeteer also emerges from behind the stage throughout the show with various cute and fluffy animal puppets for each child to see up close.
On the day:
Puppeteers arrive at the childcare centre about 75 minutes before the puppet show’s starting time to set up the stage, sound equipment, props and puppets. The show (as described above) is performed for 30 minutes, followed by the 5 minute “how the puppets work” demonstration and a 5-10 minute meet-and-greet and photo opportunity with Troggg. The puppeteers then pack down the stage and other equipment.

- Time allowance for travel, set-up and pack-up of the puppet stage, sound equipment, props and puppets.

And with good reason too. Troggg, Frizzby, Moss, Flossy and the gang are certainly very amazing puppet characters. Larger than life and definitely cuter and fluffier than any magician, clown, character costume, superhero, face painter, fairy or jumping castle.
