Larrikin Puppets at Rise & Shine Kindergarten – Maroochydore / Buderim, Sunshine Coast

We always love performing on the Sunshine Coast. Past performances by Larrikin Puppets in the areas have included Maroochydore State School, Noosa Tewantin Playgroup, Tewantin Community Kindergarten, Little Characters Early Learning Centre in Woombye, the Teddy Bear Fair at Sunshine Coast Private Hospital in Buderim, the Kawana Waters Hotel in Buddina, Buderim Tavern, Noosa Reef Hotel, Cooroy Fusion Festival, Cooroy Library, Noosaville Library, AEIOU Early Learning Centre in Sippy Downs, the Tewantin-Noosa RSL, Guppy’s Early Learning Centres in Beerwah, birthday parties in Witta (Maleny), Kuluin, Palmwoods and more.

We’ve completed three months of professional development in the USA, which included performances and advanced training with Jim Henson puppeteers from The Muppets and Sesame Street.

We also perform in shopping centres, libraries, council festivals and schools all over South East Queensland and Central Queensland, and have performed puppetry on such children’s TV shows as Totally Wild, The Bureau of Magical Things and Juiced TV.

If you’re a Sunshine Coast kindergarten or childcare centre, you might be interested to know that we present a colourful and exciting puppet show for childcare centres, featuring zany Muppet-style characters performing age appropriate songs, skits, jokes, games and live interaction with the audience. The puppets encourage the audience to dance, sing and play along. There’s also a “How the puppets work” demonstration at the end.

We also offer our Story Time puppet show featuring a story book by one of three Australian children’s authors – read by Elissa with puppets demonstrating active listening and engagement, plus a story sing-along.

One performer; Brett Hansen –
$350 (Moreton Bay Region, Brisbane, Sunshine Coast Region, Shire of Noosa).
$350 + $25 travel surcharge ($375) – City of Gold Coast, Logan City, Ipswich City, Somerset Region.

For those with a smaller budget we offer a simpler show with just one performer without the female characters.

Having the two puppeteers (Elissa and Brett) means more gender balance with some female puppet characters and more audience interaction. If that doesn’t suit your budget, the solo shows (just Brett) with “Troggg” and the gang are just as dynamic and exciting.
